Zazie Maquet founded the design studio in 2014 after gaining valuable experience in architectural and design firms across Belgium, London, Stockholm, and Tokyo.
With her background as a creative director at a set design agency, she brings a strong scenographic approach to every project. Over the years, the studio has grown, and is now a team of five professionals, each with diverse backgrounds and expertise.
Our collaboration marked a turning point in defining the studio’s visual identity, creating a coherent and distinctive language that reflects its refined aesthetic, cross-disciplinary practice, and bold yet timeless spirit.
Challenge
Studio Zazie Maquet had operated for years without a distinct visual identity of its own. The challenge was to craft a brand that could reflect the studio’s multifaceted practice, spanning from high-end private residences to refined hospitality projects, while maintaining a sense of timelessness and cohesion. The identity needed to feel minimal yet distinctive, combining subtle sophistication with vibrant, dynamic accents that mirror the studio’s creative energy and versatile approach.
Solution
The new identity draws on the studio’s balance between precision and creativity. A minimalist typographic system anchors the brand, allowing the visual language to remain timeless and adaptable across contexts, from architectural portfolios to digital touchpoints. A vibrant color palette introduces a contemporary edge, infusing warmth and personality without compromising on refinement. The result is an identity that feels both understated and confident, capturing the studio’s ability to shape spaces that are as functional as they are inspiring.
