ØRGA DESIGN

A furniture company creating timeless pieces from recycled waste, turning discarded materials into functional and sustainable design.

Contexte

2025

Over the years, Ørga Design has grown from a small-scale initiative into a furniture company with a bold ambition: to transform waste into timeless design. While its original identity reflected its beginnings, it no longer captured the maturity, vision, and influence the brand had achieved. The rebranding became an opportunity to realign Ørga’s visual language with its mission, celebrating sustainability, elevating craftsmanship, and positioning the brand within the contemporary design landscape.

Challenge

Ørga design was born from a desire to redefine the relationship between creation and waste. The challenge was to craft an identity that could embody both the rawness of recovered materials and the refinement of contemporary design. The brand needed to express a philosophy of transformation, where what already exists becomes the foundation for something new, functional, and beautiful.

Solution

The name Ørga evokes both sustainability and the act of organizing, reusing, and giving materials a second life. It carries within it the idea of order emerging from what was once discarded. The visual identity translates this through a pale yellow accent, a quiet symbol of renewal, light, and conscious optimism.

Silhouettes of chairs and furniture are reduced to their purest forms, simplified into flat color shadows and delicate outlines. These abstract shapes build a visual language that speaks of design through suggestion rather than display. Every composition reflects intention and restraint, letting the essence of each object come forward.

Layouts remain ultra minimal, guided by balance and white space. The identity breathes in silence, allowing matter and form to take center stage. Together, these elements express Ørga’s philosophy, thoughtful, grounded, and devoted to the poetry of transformation.
